On Wednesday 17 February we organized a DroneTalks workshop at Lambda-X, Verhaert’s innovation center in Nivelles. Curious about the learnings we gathered during this event on how to innovate successfully with drones? For instance, will the future commercial drone pilot be an on-board sensor-processor with dematerialized interface?
New businesses are only generated when buyers perceive the new applications more valuable compared to existing solutions in the market. How can you apply this statement on drones? The co-creation workshops of the DroneTalks brought companies together that are dealing with this interesting topic.
Are you aware of the many opportunities in the use of drones? Delivering groceries, handling e-commerce orders, revolutionizing security services, smart agriculture etc. Join the co-creation workshop about drones on Wednesday 3rd February 2016 (in Kruibeke) or 17th February 2016 (in Nivelles) from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Verhaert will challenge you in how to create value and moneymaking services using drones.
In a world where people are desperately looking for new experiences, there is a theme bothering more businesses than ever. The following topic is going from mouth to mouth very quickly: “How can my business profit and engage in Internet of Things?” You might remember that just a few years ago, everybody was talking about their challenges in innovating their innovation processes. What has changed the world in such a short time? Why has the world disregarded earlier trends and adopted the new IoT trend so rapidly and profoundly?
Applications for IoT seem to be limitless. However, it is a challenge to get the required ecosystem and switch to a new kind of sales (f.e. pay per use, subscription based …) to work harmoniously in order to generate revenues will be challenging. This requires thorough changes in your company, competences and capabilities covering product management and R&D. You should keep these 7 company assets in mind to implement IoT successfully.
Do you notice how the Internet of Things (IoT) is turning into the Internet of Customers? The shift from physical products to data based services is not only changing the way we do business. It has also an influence on how you connect with your customers and how customers interact with your products. However, it can be a mystery to understand how you can implement IoT enabled products in your company.
No great achievement is possible without persistent work.
